Mid-Day-Meal
. Introduction: Cooked Mid-Day-Meal Programme has been started in Assam with effect from January, 2005.The State Govt. has transferred the implementation of Mid-Day Meal Scheme from Director, Elementary Education, Assam to SSA, Assam w.e.f. 01-01- 2014. The scheme of Mid-Day Meal has now been running under the direct supervision of SSA, Assam w.e.f. 01-01-2014. The MDM Programme is being implemented in Assam for all the children studying in classes? I-VIII in Govt/Provincialized, Govt. Aided/Local Body/Recognised/TG managed schools, NRST/KGBV.
